Why route a shipment as cross trade?
It avoids bringing the cargo to the DR only to re-export it: no double freight, no double duties and a shorter transit time to your customer.
Can my supplier find out who my buyer is?
No. With a switch bill of lading the first set of documents shows the supplier and us; the second set shows you as seller and your buyer as consignee.
